A little bit about myself:
I work full time at Switch and Data in the Network Engineering department Infrastructure group as a Network Engineer.
I received my Bachelor of Arts from Valparaiso University in 2006, with a major in Chinese & Japanese Studies. I graduated with the honor of cum laude. In 2008 I graduated from Valparaiso University again with my Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with the concentration of East Asian Studies.

- I have been married to Joel since June 24th, 2006.
- I do photography gigs on the side, as the owner of Cat Hoffman Photography, LLC. I specialize in weddings, events and sports.
My hobbies:
- I was a former President of the Japanese Club on campus for two school years.
- I am an alumna of the women's fraternity Kappa Kappa Gamma. During my time in the organization I served as Marshall and webmaster.
- I am an almuna of the national co-ed service fraternity of Alpha Phi Omega. During my time with the organization I served as treasurer and webmaster. I have also served as an alumni community adviser to the chapter.
- I've been involved with martial arts since 2000. I am presently studying at Tiger Martial Arts in Chesterton, IN. Before that I studied at World Karate Academy in Moriches, NY.
- I love to read and am a huge fan and supporter of the Amazon Kindle 2. (and the original Amazon Kindle 1)
